EJ Harrison back to win the title for Glasgow Rocks

Last season's top scorer for Glasgow Rocks basketball team, EJ Harrison says he has returned to the club in order to win the British Basketball League title. Averaging 15.1 points per game last season, Harrison says head coach Sterling Davis and the fans had a lot to do with him signing on for the club again this season. There are many basketball fans amongst the Scotland escorts in Glasgow, and they are delighted at this news.
Harrison has become a big fan of Glasgow Rocks’ enthusiastic fan base and is quoted as saying "I really felt like I owed the Rocks and the fans something after the season we had. Sterling had a lot of faith in me so I wanted to give it another shot at winning a championship.”
Reunited with fellow fan favourite Gareth Murray who has also just re-signed with the club, West Connecticut native Harrison sees all of the players at the club working together and improving on last season's efforts adding "Hopefully all the players are on the same page and we can move forward as one unit for the full season."
Head coach, and still a player himself, Sterling Davis is clearly delighted to have the player back at Kelvin Hall - "EJ was a big leader for our team last season both on and off the court. He really helped bring the younger guys along with expectations of the league and also with his work ethic."
After finishing sixth in the league last season and reaching the play-off quarter-finals, Davis and his players are clearly hoping to mount a challenge for the league title this season, overcoming the new champions Mersey Tigers. This will be another tough campaign battling against ever present challengers such as Newcastle Eagles and Sheffield sharks once more.
